About the Gympie Aquatic Recreation Centre

This flagship leisure centre for the Gympie region provides a wide range of health and leisure services for our local community.

Our Facilities

Our full facilities include a 50m outdoor pool, 25m indoor heated pool, fully equipped gym, kids splash park, waterslides, cafe, BBQs and picnic areas. We hold aqua and land group fitness classes, along with childrens and adults swimming lessons.

Memberships

At Gympie Aquatic Recreation Centre, we offer a range of memberships for swim and gym, group fitness classes, squad training, swimming lessons and water safety classes. Everything you need to enjoy all the facilities the centre has to offer.

Kids Splash Park Area

Kids love to explore water fountains, and squirt and splash their way through the splash park area. The use of this area is included with the general entry fee.

This water world of discovery is designed specifically for young children so they too can experience the joy of water and develop their confidence at every stage.

Waterslides

Slide your way down the double-looped tubes of fun. With two waterslides to choose from, you can race your mates and have a blast sliding down these superfast superjet slides.

All riders must be 6 years old and taller than the 1.2m ruler at front reception. All instructions given by staff and lifeguards must be obeyed at all times. A waterslide band is in addition to your entry fee and gives access to unlimited slide use during open hours on the day of entry.
