School Swimming Carnivals

Belgravia Leisure’s professionals are on hand to assist with this major event in the school calendar. Venue setup including lane ropes, backstroke flags and safety equipment all combine with our lifeguards for supervision, your carnival schedule and risk management plan make for a great sporting event.

Staffing - Lifeguards

We provide experienced, knowledgeable and qualified staff who hold current Pool Lifeguard, first aid, CPR and working with children checks.

Risk Management and Emergency Evacuation

As an element of booking an aquatic program, school/event personnel are required to undertake and document a risk assessment and create an action plan that all personnel involved in the program are trained in.
Belgravia Leisure has documented emergency action and evacuation plans. Staff are trained regularly in implementation. In the event of an emergency please follow all directions of Chief and Area Wardens.

Spectators

We welcome parents and families into the centre to support children at swimming carnivals. A small fee will be charged upon entry, schools/event personnel can arrange during the booking process to have this fee invoiced and charged back to the school/hirer.

Invoicing

An invoice will be generated after the carnival where payment will be required within 7 days of the invoice being issued.

Fees and Charges*

Hire Fee: $240.00 per hour for the 50m pool

Additional Fees*

Function Room Hire: $30.00 per hour
Spectator Fees: $2.30 per person
